By downloading, installing, or using the Notivo application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The Notivo app provides voice note, transcription, and AI-assisted note tools that may allow you to:

• Record or import audio and save it as voice notes
• Generate transcripts, titles, summaries, and related AI outputs
• Organize notes with collections and searchable note content
• Use AI assistant features to ask questions across your notes where available
• Store and manage your notes, media, preferences, and account-related settings

The App is intended to support productivity and personal organization. AI-generated outputs are provided for convenience and may be incomplete or inaccurate, so you should review important information yourself before relying on it.

3. User Accounts and Data

3.1 Account Creation

• The App may require account creation or sign-in for certain features
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account

3.2 Data Storage

• Your notes, recordings, transcripts, summaries, and related content may be stored locally on your device
• History, metadata, and preferences may be stored in a local database or app-specific storage
• You are responsible for backing up your data
• We do not guarantee data recovery in case of device loss or app uninstallation

4. Content and Intellectual Property

4.1 User Content

• You retain ownership of recordings, text, prompts, and other information you enter or upload
• You are solely responsible for the content you submit
• You warrant that you have the right to use any content you provide, including uploaded audio

4.2 Prohibited Content

You may not use the App to submit content that:

• Contains malware or malicious code

4.3 Third-Party Materials

5. AI Features and Limitations

5.1 AI-generated output

• Transcripts, summaries, titles, answers, and other AI outputs may be generated automatically
• AI output may contain errors, omissions, or misleading interpretations
• You are responsible for reviewing outputs before using them for work, school, legal, medical, financial, or other important decisions

5.2 Service limitations

• Features may depend on device capabilities, network availability, and third-party providers
• Some AI features may require sign-in, credits, or an active subscription
• We may adjust, limit, or discontinue features to maintain performance or compliance
• Errors or delays may occur due to technical issues

6. Privacy and Data Protection

6.1 Data Collection

We may collect:

• Usage analytics and crash reports (for example via Firebase)
• Device information for technical support
• Metadata about your use of the App (such as timestamps, feature usage, and subscription interactions)
• Audio, transcript previews, prompts, and related metadata when needed to provide transcription, summary, or AI assistant features

6.2 Data Usage

• Recordings, notes, and preferences are primarily stored on your device unless a feature explicitly uses our servers or providers

• Firebase (Google) for analytics, authentication, messaging, crash reporting, and operational records
• Adapty and app store providers for subscriptions, purchases, and restore flows
• Google Mobile Ads for advertising

7. Advertising, Credits, and Subscriptions

7.1 Ad Display

• The App may display advertisements through Google Mobile Ads in the free experience
• Ads may be served based on your device and usage patterns
• You may see personalized ads based on your interests where permitted

7.2 Paid features

• Premium features, credits, or subscriptions may be available to unlock or extend certain App capabilities
• An ad-free or reduced-ad experience may be offered through in-app purchases or subscriptions
• All purchases are subject to the terms and billing policies of the relevant app store and payment provider

8. Technical Requirements

8.1 Device Compatibility

• The App targets current supported versions of iOS and Android as listed in the store listing
• Some features, especially AI and account-linked features, may require an internet connection
• Sufficient storage space may be required for recordings, local databases, and related note data

8.2 Performance

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• The App may experience downtime for maintenance
• Performance may vary based on device capabilities and network conditions

9. User Responsibilities

9.1 Lawful Use

• You must use the App in compliance with applicable laws
• You are responsible for how you rely on transcripts, summaries, answers, and other information shown in the App

9.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where allowed by law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Upload or process audio or content that you do not have the right to use
• Interfere with the App's functionality or security

10. Disclaimers and Limitations

10.1 Service Availability

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law
• We do not guarantee continuous, error-free operation

10.2 Content Accuracy

• We do not warrant that transcripts, summaries, answers, or other AI outputs are complete, accurate, or suitable for your situation
• You should independently verify important information before acting on it

10.3 Limitation of Liability

• Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months before the claim, if any

11. Updates and Modifications

11.1 App Updates

• We may release updates to improve functionality and security
• Updates may be required to continue using the App

11.2 Terms Updates

• We may modify these Terms
• Continued use after changes may constitute acceptance where permitted by law
• We will notify users of material changes when practicable

12. Termination

12.1 User Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time
• Uninstalling the App may remove local data unless you have a separate backup
