1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how the Babymorph application ("App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our AI baby generator on iPhone, iPad, and Android. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Babymorph does not require you to create an account with email, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign In. An anonymous identifier may be created in the background to support credits, subscriptions, and device records. You never see a sign-in screen.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

Parent photos and generation choices:

  • Two parent photos you take with the camera or pick from your photo library
  • Your consent confirmation that you have the right to use both photos (with a timestamp)
  • Generation options such as style, variant, or growth stage
  • Onboarding choices, language, and notification preferences
  • Feedback or support messages you send to us by email

Note: Parent photos are used only to create your baby image. They are deleted from our servers right after generation, and in any case within 1 hour. We do not create or store face embeddings, and your photos are never used to train AI models.

2.2 Information from Device and Platform Services

When you use certain features, the App may access:

  • Camera — to take parent photos when you choose to
  • Photo library — to pick parent photos and to save generated baby images when you choose to
  • Notifications — to deliver optional reminders or result alerts when you opt in
  • Device identifiers — for anonymous authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and subscription validation
  • App Store / Google Play billing records — processed by Apple or Google and validated through Adapty

Camera and photo library access are used only for the photos you select. The App does not scan, upload, or read other photos in your library.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

Device and app information:

  • Device model, operating system version, and app version
  • A device or installation identifier for analytics, crash reporting, or subscription validation
  • Anonymous Firebase user identifier used for background authentication and credits
  • Language and theme preferences

Usage analytics:

  • App launch events and session duration
  • Feature usage (for example onboarding steps, generations started or completed, saves, shares, paywall views)
  • Crash reports and error logs
  • Performance metrics

2.4 App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS, if we use analytics that may be considered tracking under Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework, the App will ask for your permission before accessing the Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA). You can decline; the App remains usable. Firebase Analytics collection stays off on iOS until ATT resolves. If you allow tracking, analytics partners may receive a device identifier as permitted by your choice.

2.5 Information We Do Not Collect

Unless you provide it or a feature requires it, we do not aim to collect:

  • Your name, email address, or phone number through in-app sign-up (there is no sign-in UI)
  • Precise GPS location
  • Your contacts or address book
  • Biometric identifiers or face embeddings derived from your photos
  • Photos other than the two parent photos you explicitly select
  • Microphone recordings or content from inside other apps

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Primary purposes

  • Generate AI baby images from the two parent photos you provide
  • Track free results and credits tied to your anonymous identifier
  • Validate and restore Babymorph Pro subscriptions
  • Maintain anonymous account and device records in Firebase where needed
  • Load remote configuration for styles, feature flags, and app behavior
  • Deliver optional notifications when you enable them
  • Provide customer support when you contact us

3.2 Analytics and improvement

  • Understand aggregate App usage and stability
  • Diagnose crashes and fix bugs
  • Improve onboarding, generation quality, and reliability

4. Data Storage and Security

4.1 Local storage

  • Generated baby images, history, and preferences are stored on your device
  • Images you save to your photo library remain there until you delete them
  • Data persists until you clear it in the App where available, uninstall the App, or reset your device

4.2 Cloud processing and storage

  • Parent photos are uploaded over HTTPS to our backend only to run the generation and are deleted right after it completes (within 1 hour at most)
  • Anonymous Firebase account, device, credit, and subscription-related records may be stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore
  • We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information we process
  • Network communications use HTTPS

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Firebase (Google)

  • Firebase Analytics
  • Firebase Authentication (anonymous)
  • Firebase Remote Config
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging, if push notifications are enabled
  • Cloud Functions and Cloud Firestore for generation requests, credits, device, and subscription records

5.2 AI image providers

  • Parent photos are sent to an AI image model provider (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI) solely to generate your baby image
  • Photos are processed under the provider's API terms, which do not allow them to be used to train models

5.3 Adapty

  • App Store and Google Play subscription and in-app purchase management
  • Purchase history and entitlement validation tied to your store transaction records

5.4 Sentry

  • Crash reporting and error monitoring

5.5 Apple and Google

  • App Store and Google Play process payments; Apple and Google receive transaction data according to their privacy policies

6. App Privacy Details

Our store privacy labels reflect categories that may be collected for analytics, app functionality, or purchase validation and are not used for cross-app tracking unless you consent via ATT on iOS:

  • Photos — the two parent photos, processed only to generate your image and deleted right after
  • User ID — anonymous identifier for app functionality, credits, and analytics
  • Device ID — collected for analytics and app functionality
  • Product interaction — collected for analytics and app functionality
  • Crash data, performance data, and other diagnostic data — collected via analytics and Sentry
  • Purchases — collected via Adapty for subscription management when you subscribe

We do not collect contact info, precise location, or health data.

7. Your Rights and Choices

  • Manage camera, photo library, and notification permissions in iOS or Android Settings
  • Decline App Tracking Transparency on iOS while continuing to use core features
  • Delete generated images from the App history or your photo library at any time
  • Uninstall the App to remove local data from your device
  • Request deletion of server-side data — see our Support & Data Deletion page
  • Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, delete, or object to certain processing

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 18. Only upload photos of adults who have agreed to their use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and you must not upload photos of minors or of celebrities and public figures.
