If you have questions about Earlybit on iPhone or iPad, need technical assistance, or want to request that your data be deleted, please reach out directly.

Common iOS Support Topics

  • Alarm did not ring — check Settings → Notifications → Earlybit, disable Focus modes that silence alarms, and ensure the device was powered on
  • Notifications disabled — open iOS Settings → Earlybit → Notifications and enable Allow Notifications and Time Sensitive Notifications if offered
  • Wake mission permissions — grant Camera for photo/QR missions and Motion & Fitness for shake or step missions in iOS Settings → Earlybit
  • Apple Health sync — enable in App Settings, then authorize Sleep and Steps in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Earlybit
  • AlarmKit — on supported iOS versions, native alarms require AlarmKit authorization when prompted
  • Subscription or Pro features — use Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings; manage billing in Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions
  • Free trial — cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends in your Apple ID subscription settings to avoid renewal charges

Requesting Data Deletion

On your device

You can remove local data without contacting us:

  1. Open Earlybit → Settings
  2. Use Clear local data (or equivalent) to remove alarms, streaks, and preferences stored on your iPhone or iPad
  3. Alternatively, delete the App from your home screen to remove local app data

Server-side deletion request

If you want anonymous account, analytics, or subscription-related records removed from our services:

  1. Send an email to karlihasann@gmail.com with the subject line "Earlybit Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include your device model, approximate install date, and any details that help us locate anonymous records (for example Firebase anonymous user ID if shown in a support export).
  3. Describe the data you would like deleted (anonymous account, analytics, crash logs, subscription metadata where applicable).
  4. Allow up to 7 business days for confirmation that your request has been processed.

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion request has been completed.

What Data Is Deleted

  • Anonymous Firebase account and related cloud records, where applicable
  • Crash reports and analytics events tied to your identifiers
  • Support emails and related correspondence once your request is resolved

Data stored only on your device (alarms, streaks, mission history, preferences, custom sounds) is removed when you clear local data in the App or uninstall Earlybit.

What Data May Be Retained

  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual
  • Apple App Store transaction records retained by Apple for billing and tax purposes
  • Adapty subscription records required for fraud prevention and accounting, where applicable
  • Log entries evidencing the completion of your deletion request

  • Math, shake, photo, QR, step, typing, or memory mission issues
  • Streak or wakeup receipt not updating correctly
  • Earlybit Pro paywall, free trial, or Restore Purchases problems
  • Alarm sound, gradual volume, or snooze settings
  • Reporting bugs or crashes with reproduction steps and iOS version
