If you have questions about Unping, need technical assistance, or want to request that your data be deleted, please reach out directly.

Common Support Topics

  • No-contact counter — set or adjust your start date during onboarding or in recovery settings; the live counter appears on Home
  • Check-in reminders — enable notifications during onboarding or in iOS/Android Settings → Unping → Notifications
  • Panic mode — open Panic from Home when you feel like reaching out; complete the timed breathing flow before deciding your next step
  • Unsent drafts — write in Journal without sending; free users have limited draft slots; Unping Pro unlocks unlimited drafts
  • Slip log — if you break no contact, log it honestly to track triggers over time; your streak may reset based on your settings
  • Breakup coach — supportive in-app chat stored on your device; free users have a daily message limit; Pro removes the limit
  • Subscription or Pro features — use Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings; manage billing in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings
  • Free trial — cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid renewal charges
  • Crisis support — Unping is a self-help tool, not therapy. If you are in crisis, contact a mental health professional or local emergency services

Requesting Data Deletion

On your device

You can remove local recovery data without contacting us:

  1. Delete the App from your home screen or app drawer to remove local counter, draft, check-in, slip, and coach data stored on your device
  2. Alternatively, clear app data in your device settings where your platform offers that option

Server-side deletion request

If you want anonymous account, analytics, device, or subscription-related records removed from our services:

  1. Send an email to hiveforces@gmail.com with the subject line "Unping Data Deletion Request".
  2. Include your device model, platform (iOS or Android), and approximate install date.
  3. Describe the data you would like deleted (anonymous account, analytics, crash logs, device records, subscription metadata where applicable).
  4. Allow up to 7 business days for confirmation that your request has been processed.

You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion request has been completed.

What Data Is Deleted

  • Anonymous Firebase account and related cloud records, where applicable
  • Device and user records stored in Firestore tied to your anonymous identifier
  • Crash reports and analytics events tied to your identifiers
  • Support emails and related correspondence once your request is resolved

Data stored only on your device (no-contact counter, unsent drafts, check-ins, slip logs, coach messages, and preferences) is removed when you uninstall Unping or clear app data on your device.

What Data May Be Retained

  • Aggregated, anonymized analytics that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual
  • Apple App Store and Google Play transaction records retained by Apple or Google for billing and tax purposes
  • Adapty subscription records required for fraud prevention and accounting, where applicable
  • Log entries evidencing the completion of your deletion request
